First of all, our apologies for the lack of updates lately. We have been preparing for our departure and saying goodbye to all our dear friends. The last few days have been, awesome, fun, chaotic, sad and full of packing, trashing and giving away our belongings to empty our apartment.

It all hasn’t sunk in yet, but we are really home now after 18 hours of traveling. What will we miss about Japan and what did we actually miss most from home. We will all find out soon and share it here.

What does this mean for this blog? Worry not, we still have so much content that we want to share. So we will still be updating our blog regularly, with awesome stuff from Japan and about Japan. So don’t forget us.

[English] Are you staying for a short time(Christmas) or are you staying here for a longer period of time?(end of Japanese study)?

If you stay longer, are you going to check out the Japanese scene here in The Netherlands?
For example the ‘Japanese autofest’ is this year in the spring period(I thought May) on the track of Zandvoort and the ‘Open Drift Championship’ is changing into so-called challenges during big auto events. I’ve heard that it’s going to be great!

Unfortunately not just for Christmas, this is sort of permanent. I did not finish the study because it’s really hard to tell where it finishes, you actually just do it by semester. But when finances don’t allow you to stay longer you have no other choice but to return.

As I have been interested in the car scene in Holland already I will of course still be going there and maybe do some coverage on that. But before that the weather has to turn around and improve.

It sure has to turn around quickly.

I got Yokohama Parada tires on my AlfaRomeo, so no driving for me untill the snow has disappeared. :(

Maybe I’ll spot you somewhere on upcoming car events ;)

Welcome back guys and thanks for all the great updates out of Japan!
I had the same sad feeling when I returned from Japan. There is just too much exciting stuff going on there!
Let’s celebrate your return in the new year by showing the guys over there that the car scene here rocks nearly as much.

    Nurburgring here we come!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
(May the lottery grant us a return ticket too the Drift Matsuri!!!)

    Cheers,

    Mat
