Minkara Monday Mitsubishi Evolution 6 and older
29 Nov, 2010
Finally another Minkara Monday! This time a special request from my friend Lee Man. He wants to see some nice Mitsubishi Evo 6’s. So I scourged minkara again today to find some nice examples of the Mitsubishi Evolution generation 6 (and some older). I have to add though, it was not an easy task, because there are so many newer generation evo’s on Minkara and the search on Minkara is not that great.
When you want to know more (see more pictures) about the car and the owner you can click on the image.
So let’s start with this red example (Evo 4). I don’t have to add that this one is being used on track and also really prepared for it. You don’t see a lot of red examples but this one in particular is very nice. Unfortunately the owner did not put a lot of information in his profile, so I am not able to provide you with any.
Moving on to the next one (Evo 5), CE28n! looks good on any car. This Evo 6 is sporting a Valdi Sports front bumper and Cibie (HID) front lights. Not sure if I like the conversion of the lights, it’s maybe a bit too much, adding a transparent cover however might make it look really good.
Going with Varis equals getting a nice car. I have always loved products from Varis, they might be a bit extreme for some but I really like it. The underside of this car is also equipped with carbon diffusers from Varis. If I am not mistaken it’s rolling on SSR Type-C wheels, the owner unfortunately did not provide the details.
This yellow Evo 6 is means real bsuiness. With a 2.3L stroker and a HKS Kansai GT-3240 turbo and many other upgrades I can only imagine what sort of power this beast is making. Up front it’s equipped with TE37 wheels while in the rear, it’s rolling on CE28n’s, nice! Just reading this car’s speclist takes about the same time as it took me to climb Mount Fuji, it’s crazy.
Yes another one on the track, I just love seeing cars being used properly. The Evo has always been an excellent car for on the track. I love the clean look of this particular one. It has to be said that an Evo just needs a wing to look complete. However I have seen some examples here in Tokyo that look amazing without, but that’s the exception.
Moving on to the last one already of this Minkara Monday, it for sure is not the least. Yet another one equipped with the Varis bodykit. But this time rolling on insane 17×10 Work Meister S1’s. Through the front window you can see the bride seats which keep the driver into place during heavy cornering.
Here is a rear shot of the car. On the carbon trunk you can see a Voltex rear wing keeping the planted on the ground on high speeds. Instead of the Meisters, it’s this time cruising on 19×10 PIAA Super Rozza 2 piece wheels and dropped on Tein mono flex. Just look at those carbon Varis rear fenders.
Although the number of cars were limited this time I hope you enjoyed this update. And Lee Man I’d like to see your Evo 6 look even better than some of these cars soon.
